Greenhouse Project
The youth built a greenhouse for a neighborhood garden. They learned to work as a team, follow instructions, and ask for help to get the job done.
Fishing Excursion
The youth showed off leadership skills during this trip. Some taught others how to fish and they caught some fish as well. They learned everything from how to put bait on a hook to the practice of patience.
Van Reveal
We were able to secure a van to transport the youth and we did a reveal for the youth and the parents.
Bodyguard Training
The youth were taught basic skills that a bodyguard needs to know. They got to have some hands-on training of conducting searches, learned how to properly use a tourniquet and how to de-escalate different situations. Mr. Shabazz spoke on the importance of being dependable, being punctual, and dedicated, which is how he got to where he is today.
